SimpleISS – Simple Inventory & Shop System (Unity)

SimpleISS is a lightweight inventory and shop system for Unity, designed to be easy to understand, modify, and integrate.

It includes a clean demo scene showcasing:

• Stackable inventory slots

• Item database with icons

• Buy / Sell logic with currency

• Save, load, and delete functionality (JSON)

• Simple, extendable UI

This package is intentionally minimal. It avoids over-engineering and heavy dependencies, making it ideal for small to mid-sized projects, prototypes, or as a foundation for a custom system.

Quick Start:

1. Import the package

2. Open Assets/SimpleISS/Demo/Scenes/DemoScene

3. Press Play

• UI panels for inventory and shop

• Demo scene and example items

What’s NOT included:

• Drag & drop

• Stack splitting

• Advanced animations or effects

This is to allow for easy modification later on.
